Hunter Huss wide receivers got some tips from a pro on Tuesday.
Former Carolina Panthers wide receiver Taye Biddle visited the Huskies' practice Tuesday, handing out pointers to some of the junior varsity players.
It was an impromptu visit made possible by first-year Hunter Huss assistant coach Jerry Curry, who provides personal security for Biddle.
Biddle stayed at Huss for about an hour and 15 minutes, teaching receivers about stance, how to shift their weight and how to stretch before practice.
He left practice earlier than he intended because his agent called with news that the New York Giants scheduled him for a workout Friday. Biddle played collegiately with Giants quarterback Eli Manning at Mississippi.
Biddle was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Panthers in 2006. He also has been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions. He was placed on injured reserve by the Lions last month, but Curry said Biddle has recovered from a pulled stomach muscle that had sidelined him.
